Local Attractions
Benscreek Canoe Club: This club consists of a group of paddlers from the Alleghenies region of Pennsylvania, who promote the enjoyment, challenge, safety, and camaraderie of kayaking and canoeing. The club is also involved with issues such as stream access, whitewater and conservation dam releases, and the remediation of environmental threats. It hosts several events each year including kayak roll classes, the Stonycreek Rendezvous, Kiski-Conemaugh Canoe Sojourn, and more!
Laurel Highlands: The Laurel Highlands of Western Pennsylvania cover a three-county area of beautiful scenery, exhilarating outdoor recreation, family entertainment, and historical sites that will bring you back year after year with four-seasons of outdoor activities.
Quemahoning Recreation Area: Serving as the only public access to the breath-taking 900-acre Quemahoning Reservoir, the Que Family Rec Area is a full-service campground and recreational area.
